Meet Jeremy Udkoff

Jeremy Udkoff, MD, MA, MAS, FAAD is an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship trained and board-certified Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgeon, a board-certified dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. 
Dr. Udkoff was the founding fellow and helped establish the ACMS accredited Mohs, plastics, and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the world-renowned Tel Aviv Medical Center (TLVMC). Due to its exceptional program, it is the only ACMS fellowship program in Europe, Africa or Asia. There, Dr. Udkoff performed and assisted in over 1,200 Mohs surgeries and countless other dermatologic surgeries and procedures. Dr. Udkoff is ambidextrous and utilizes surgical techniques that produce the utmost cosmetic and functional results for his patients. 
In addition to his Mohs experience Dr. Udkoff performed a sub-fellowship with Dr. Ofir Artzi, a leading expert in cosmetic dermatology, at TLVMC. He also studied cosmetic dermatology under Dr. Susan Obagi, Dr. Carolyn Willis and Dr. Oleg Akilov and is proficient in liposuction, cosmetic surgery, laser medicine, neuromodulators (such as Botox and Dysport), and fillers (like Restylane).
He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where he published multiple research papers on Mohs surgery under the mentorship of leaders in the field such as Dr. David Brodland and Dr. Thomas Knackstedt and began his Mohs surgery training with Dr. Melissa Pugliano-Mauro.
Dr. Udkoff completed both his MD and an NIH TL1 funded Master’s Degree in clinical research at the University of California, San Diego, before completing medical Internship at the highly regarded Cleveland Clinic. Prior to this, he completed multiple degrees including a combined BA/MA in Rabbinical Studies from the Jewish Education Leadership Institute, where he graduated Summa cum Laude and valedictorian of his class, and a BS degree in molecular biology and biochemistry from California Lutheran University. Prior to medical school Dr. Udkoff became an HVAC technician and built ultra-low temperature refrigeration systems for computer applications and repaired MRI machine coolant technology. 
When Dr. Udkoff is not practicing dermatology and surgery, he enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife and 4 children. His various interests and hobbies include spearfishing, chess, baking sour dough, smoking fish and meats, 3D printing projects with his kids.

Meet Loren Funt

Dr. Funt is a board certified dermatologist who has practiced in Pittsburgh for over 35 years. Dr. Funt graduated from George Washington University Medical School following a combined 3-year college and a 4-year medical school program. He subsequently fulfilled a one year internship in Washington, DC with the VA Hospital associated with Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Funt completed his dermatology residency in Detroit, Michigan at Henry Ford Hospital, a University of Michigan affiliated hospital. Dr. Funt served as an assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for over 20 years. He has lectured dermatology residents on a regular basis at UPMC, University of Michigan, Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City and Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, North Carolina. In addition, Dr. Funt teaches dermatology to Washington Family Hospital Practice residents. Dr. Funt lives in Mt. Lebanon with his wife, Jackie, and their 3 dogs. The Funts have 4 grown children.

Meet David Lemchak

Dr. David Lemchak is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He attended the University of Pittsburgh at its Greensburg campus for his undergraduate education, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology.  Dr. Lemchak then attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at its Seton Hill campus.  It was during his medical school career that Dr. Lemchak discovered his passion for dermatology. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Lemchak completed a Traditional Rotating Internship at UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Lemchak completed his residency with Goodman Dermatology located in Atlanta, Georgia.  Dr. Lemchak is driven to provide the highest quality of care with both respect and compassion for every patient.  
Outside of dermatology, Dr. Lemchak enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing guitar and pursues multiple interests in sports and fitness.  Welcome Dr. Lemchak to the Mt. Lebanon Dermatology Associates Family!

Meet Nicole Funt

Nicole E. Funt, MPAS, PA-C has been a practicing Physician Assistant for 20 years. She graduated cum laude from Wake Forest University in 1997, where she completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Chatham University in 1999. Nicole joined Mt. Lebanon Dermatology, PC in July of 2005. Her previous clinical experience includes 6 years in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She has also worked in the Emergency Department at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. In addition to dermatology, Nicole’s interests include academic medicine. She completed an online teaching fellowship in 2002. She served as Adjunct Faculty in the Physician Assistant Program at Chatham University from 2002 to 2003, and as Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies from 2003 to 2005. Nicole lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband, Matthew, their son, Harrison, their daughters, Adeline and Emma, and their dogs E.J. and Lilly.

Meet Joyce Brun

Joyce Brun, MPAS, PA-C, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg with
honors, summa cum laude, obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Biology and
minor in Chemistry in 2011. She continued her education, earning a Master of Science Degree
in Physician Assistant Studies from King’s College in 2014. While working towards her
degrees, Joyce held various leadership positions through multiple academic honor societies
including: Kings College Division of Alpha Epsilon Lambda-Graduate Honor Society, Phi
Kappa Phi-National Honor Society, Beta Beta Beta- National Biological Honor Society and
Gamma Sigma Epsilon- National Chemistry Honor Society.
Joyce is a board certified Physician Assistant, accredited through the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants. She has devoted her entire professional career to her
passion, specializing in both medical and surgical Dermatology. Joyce is a Diplomate Fellow of
the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a Fellow member of the American
Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Joyce enjoys attending Pittsburgh sporting events and spending quality time
with her family, friends and English bulldog Parker.
